Mhari Baxter - Embodied Psychotherapy & Supervision / Somatic Coach & Yoga Teacher

Mhari Baxter cropped

Healthworks Practitioner: Mhari Baxter

About me

I am a registered Movement Psychotherapist with ADMP UK and Supervisor with COSCA. I am also a Coach and Yoga Teacher with SYTT and Yo Chi. I have done additional training with Special Yoga for children who have ADHD and Autism. Connecting with the whole person mind, body and soul is important in my work with people. I enjoy sharing somatic resources because they are so practical and free once you know them. Somatic resources are body based  interventions that can help calm the nervous system when in a stress or trauma response. They can also help to release trauma, emotions and stress held in the body from the past.  I believe in the innate wisdom in the body and our connection to nature for healing and overall wellbeing.

What I offer

I specialise in Embodied Psychotherapy with children, young people and adults . Sessions are integrative with the view that there is no single approach to suit all. They are trauma-informed and draw on cognitive, mindful, somatic and creative approaches to therapy.

My approach is embodied with the view that emotions, trauma and memories are stored in the body and that there are times when words are not enough to release trauma, regulate and integrate our experiences. Key to an embodied approach is the body mind connection. And the innate connection we have to nature and the wisdom within.

I am also soon to offer Neurodiverse Success: Help your child thrive and grow into a confident independent learner.

More detail of how I work can be found on my website: www.mharibaxter.com or the Counselling Directory

Let me know if you would like a free 15 minute call to see if we are a good fit.

For further information or to make an appointment, please contact Mhari as above .

The core of traumatic reaction is physiological and it is at this level the healing begins.” Somatic experiencing, Peter Levine.

Healthworks Practitioner: Grace Wang

Grace Wang
  • Certified Aromatherapist since 2013
  • Cosmic Energy Healer
  • Principle of Beijing Aromatherapy School
  • Executive Member of the World Federation of Traditional Chinese Medicine
  • Senior Lecturer of Chinese Plant Essential Oil Therapy Course
  • Elite Trainer of Advanced Essential Oil Regulation Specialist by TÜV Rheinland, Germany
  • Director of Sales of dōTERRA (USA)
  • Healer in the Santa System, inheritor of the Casa Shakyamuni Singing Bowl Therapy
  • Acupuncturist of Shulan School of Traditional Chinese Medicine
  • Certificated UK Music Therapist since 2023

Grace has never been fond of taking medication since she was a kid. However, as a mother, when her children were sick, she found herself helpless, unable to do anything but take them to see doctors. Feeling utterly helpless, she even yearned to take on their illnesses herself. Consequently, she has always been on the lookout for natural healing methods, hoping to find a gentler and more effective way to treat her children’s sickness.

In 2013, Grace’s life took a significant turn when she met a Taiwanese mother in Beijing. She had the fortune of learning about essential oils from this mother and other professionals. This experience not only equipped her with knowledge and skills in essential oils but also restored her confidence, imbuing her with a sense of empowerment to help others.

Through learning and practice, Grace gradually became a professional therapist. Her work directly and indirectly impacted thousands of families, bringing the miraculous benefits of essential oils to many. Witnessing other mothers use tiny bottles of essential oils to aid their children, families and friends filled Grace with overwhelming emotions. She was captivated by the power of essential oils and gradually fell in love with her work.

The natural aroma of essential oils not only fascinated her but also improved relationships among family members. Grace witnessed first-hand how essential oils could promote harmony and happiness within families, reinforcing her belief in the transformative power of these oils.

Becoming a family doctor isn’t merely about applying technical skills but also about embracing a sense of mission and responsibility. Grace believes she was chosen for this role- to bring health and happiness to as many people as possible through her knowledge and practice.

Subsequently, Grace embarked on another significant journey when she met founder of Starlight Wellness Centre- Mater Mei. Here, she further expanded her understanding, firmly believing in the selfless dedication and love embodied in plant energy. Not only proficient in aromatherapy techniques, she also learned methods to use essential oils to alleviate symptoms such as colds, coughs, fever, and pain. Additionally, she delved into traditional Chinese medicine, acupuncture, singing bowl healing and music therapy, integrating these natural therapies into her medical toolkit.

Grace believes these natural therapies aren’t just about treating physical illness but also about healing the soul. Her work helps people on different levels, bringing them health and happiness. Those who have received her treatments often praise her for possessing a healing touch, which serves as the greatest affirmation and encouragement for her. Grace firmly believes in using her hands to serve others, fulfilling her life’s mission by spreading health, happiness and love to as many people as possible, enabling them to lead fulfilling lives.

Nourish Wellbeing

Stress is a simple word we hear a lot, but it is thought to be at the root of physical complaints and there are estimates that 70% of modern illness is connected to stress.

Trauma and chronic stress can affect us on many levels: physiologically, biologically, and emotionally. To ease the cycles of stress on the system we need to support the nervous system and encourage healthy energy flow and chi.

Reflexology

The overall aim of reflexology treatment is to restore the body's natural equilibrium.

  • Fertility/ menstrual/ hormonal balance
  • Support digestive health
  • Support immune system
  • Recover from fatigue/ burnout
  • Ease emotional imbalance and low mood
  • Lymphatic drainage and clear toxins, improves complexion.
  • Stress related symptoms and adrenal balance

Abdominal Therapy for Women's Health

Abdominal therapy, also known as or uterine massage or womb massage, is a therapeutic technique that involves gentle manipulation of the abdomen to promote relaxation, improve circulation, and support reproductive health. Supporting the flow, circulation and vitality of the abdominal and womb space can have profound benefits both physically and emotionally.

A nurturing massage for women can be beneficial for various health issues: from digestive troubles, painful periods, fertility support, pelvic problems to emotional upset. Stress and life experiences can impact our wellbeing, invite flow and releasing tension in your body's center can be a source of healing and nervous system regulation.

These are deeply restorative sessions, blending bodywork, with energy healing designed to support your nervous system, invite rest and release and clear the womb space inviting natural vibrancy.

Ellie is a member of the Association of Reflexologists and BFVEA and adheres to their full professional standards and continued education.

About me
I work as a Counselling Psychologist Doctorate specialising in integrative therapy for mind and body wellbeing. Since qualifying from the doctorate in Counselling Psychology 9 years ago, I have continued to work across a variety of settings ranging from community, private, inpatient and secondary care services.  I enjoy working with adults, using all of my training and experience to offer individualised care. I am also trained in energy healing- Master Reiki Healing and gentle touch body therapy- Biodynamic Craniosacral therapy.

What do I offer?
I have evolved my talking therapy to help with diverse issues. I mainly draw on scientific and spiritual knowledge, whilst enjoying weaving humanistic and third-wave Cognitive Behavioural Therapies to a) help someone understand the nature of the problem and b) help them develop strategies to overcome the issue they face. My style has been described as 'integrative, pluralistic and deeply compassionate'.

My experience of working in complex settings has meant that I am very used to offering relief and healing from trauma, whether that is from one-off trauma events or childhood attachment traumas. I have a somatic understanding of trauma and often use somatic movement theory and dance to help people ground themselves when needed/ or if preferred.  I also use a specific therapy for trauma, which is known as EMDR, (eye movement desensitising reprocessing) to work on the mental  beliefs and distortions caused through the experience of trauma. Get in touch to experience EMDR therapy.

Bio-Psy Resonance™ Therapy

Healthworks Practitioner: Eugenie Young

E-mail: info@eugenieyoung.com

Website: www.eugenieyoung.com

What is Bio-Psy Resonance™?

Bio-Psy Resonance™ is a Therapeutic Approach Integrating Bio-resonance Technology, Psychology, and Numerology for Whole-Person Healing

This gentle, non-invasive method combines frequency diagnostics and treatment with psychotherapy to support lasting healing by addressing physical symptoms and resolving the emotional, mental, and spiritual blocks that can get in the way of your recovery.

Bio-Psy Resonance Therapy™ weaves together Bio-Resonance, Psychotherapy, and Numerology into one integrative, personalised experience — addressing emotional, physical, mental, and spiritual layers of your being.

Sessions are available in Forres, Scotland, or online. You can attend in person or remotely, or choose an In-Absence session — where your scan and treatment are carried out without your presence, and you’ll receive a detailed report or video along with your personalised remedy by post.

The default treatment combines all modalities. However, each modality can also be explored on its own, depending on what you need most at this stage of your journey.

Psychotherapy: https://www.eugenieyoung.com/counselling-and-psychotherapy

Numerology: https://www.eugenieyoung.com/bio-psy-numerology

How It Works

Using advanced frequency scanning and rebalancing technology (Metatron Hunter), we detect imbalances across physical systems, emotional structures, energy fields, and vibrational patterns. We combine:

  • Bio-resonance scanning & treatment to assess organs, energy systems, pathogens, organs, cells, and even DNA structures.
  • Psychotherapeutic dialogue to process what emerges emotionally and psychologically and what can potentially interfere with recovery.
  • Personalised vibrational remedy created based on the frequency analysis of your health.
  • Numerological & archetypal insight (if desired) to map inner patterns and accelerate integration

Who It’s For

This method is ideal for individuals who:

  • Feel emotionally blocked, drained, or overwhelmed
  • Experience recurring physical symptoms or chronic health issues
  • Have tried traditional approaches with limited results
  • Seek a holistic path to healing that honours both science and soul

Whether you’re dealing with fatigue, anxiety, hormonal imbalance, trauma, mystery symptoms, or simply seeking clarity and alignment, Bio-Psy Resonance™ offers a uniquely supportive and non-invasive pathway forward.

  • Full Metatron frequency scan and targeted bio-resonance balancing
  • Therapeutic dialogue and intuitive insights
  • Custom vibrational remedy (included)

Zenthai Shiatsu Massage / Pregnancy Zenthai

Healthworks Practitioner: Valentina Lambiase

Zenthai Shiatsu is a holistic fusion of yoga asana, Traditional Thai Massage, Zen Shiatsu, and Osteopathic techniques, all integrated with focused intention at its core. Often described as a dynamic dance between practitioner and receiver, Zenthai combines fluid movements, mindful touch, and therapeutic acupressure. It has evolved to be widely recognised as a profound structural and energetic therapy, effectively addressing challenges within the musculoskeletal, digestive, and nervous systems.

Grounded in the principles of Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM), Zenthai works along the body's meridians to support the flow of Qi, the vital energy influencing our physical, emotional, and spiritual well-being. Techniques such as acupressure, stretches, joint mobilisations, and rhythmic compressions are used to clear blockages, relieve pain, and restore energy flow, addressing imbalances that manifest as pain, illness, or emotional distress.

Our practice also incorporates the Five Element Theory—Wood, Fire, Earth, Metal, and Water—each linked to specific organ systems, emotions, and natural cycles. By understanding the body's unique energetic patterns through these elements, we customize each session to meet the individual’s specific needs. Sessions take place fully clothed on a mat and are complemented by personalised diet and lifestyle advice to maintain the benefits long-term.

Joseph and Valentina offer treatments on Mondays and Tuesdays and are available for couples treatments as well (each individual treated by one therapist but both at the same time in the same space).

About Joseph:

Many years of adventuring in the Scottish mountains and working in outdoor education gave me a deep connection to my body and the world around me.

It also gave me extreme fatigue, burn-out and a healing crisis that led me to adventure inwardly, exploring yoga, breath work, meditation and herbal/plant medicine.

The realisation that touch, physical connection, and the healing of our own bodies is a fundamental antidote to the healing crisis we experience now as a collective humanity.

Physiotherapist specialising in CranioSacral Therapy

Healthworks Practitioner: Sue Watson

E-Mail: cst@sue-watson.co.uk

Tel: 0774 095 5517

About Me

As a craniosacral and physiotherapist I am passionate about supporting health through presence, touch, movement, and education. My expertise lies in having an in depth understanding of anatomy, movement, and stress physiology as well as extensive experience using touch as a healing modality. A key aspect of my work is bringing awareness to the parts of your body, sensations and feelings that may go unnoticed, allowing your health to express itself.  The practice of slow sustained attention to sensation can be transformative in creating connection and coherence, and thus balance.

Whilst I have developed a special interest in pain, burn-out and depletion/fatigue I also work with a large cross section of other conditions across all ages. My own curiosity about the conditions and experiences that present themselves has offered me a wealth of understanding into the medically unusual and unexplained. This is where working with health – available to everyone if you know how to access it – can be more beneficial than the need to know why.

I invite a ‘Curiously Connected’ approach to our work together. Every individual is just that – individual - your needs will be unique. My role is to work with you to make the connections that resonate at the deepest level, help you find flexibility and access the resources that will sustain long term change.

I have 30+yrs experience as a chartered physiotherapist and 20+yrs as a craniosacral therapist - trained and qualified in both the Upledger and Biodynamic approaches. My primary focus is craniosacral therapy but with the experience and knowledge that a career in physiotherapy brings which can be applied where appropriate/requested.
